THINK - Critical Thinking
Overview
Teaching students to become critical thinkers is an important, and often challenging task for teachers. By instilling in them the ability to critically analyze and solve problems, we equip our students with the skills they will need to handle problems and be successful in life.
Prerequisites
The only prerquisites for Critical Thinking is taking time to look at the following challenges and activities from multiple perspectives. Take the time to conduct these program pieces with your students for intriguing and engaging action.

How to Take this Unit
As the instructional leader, you are in a position to review, learn, and use the activities found within this module with the kids in your program.
However, if you are participating in the professional development component of this program as well, you will need to complete the PROFESSIONAL ASSESSMENT ACTIVITY for this module to demonstrate your own understanding and successful implementation of the THINK unit.
Course Duration
Each of the activities found within this unit can take between 20 to 90 minutes to implement with kids depending upon the number of participants you have and whether or not you include the Academic and Social extension activities.
